Who has more patience?
One day American and Soviet Union authorities decided to find out the level of patience of different employees of their own countries by deliberately putting them into lawless conditions of labour. For that propose they chose a few factories and made an announcement which said that from then on all the workers of the factories had to work 2 extra hours without being paid for it.
The American employees got angry and went on strike the next day after the announcement was made, however, their Soviet counterparts accepted the new requirement and kept working two extra hours without being paid for it.
The Soviet authorities made the next step announcing that they were going to cut the salary of the workers up to 50 percent. Well, nobody objected. The American authorities were shocked. How come? Then all the workers were called for a meeting in which it was announced that all the workers were going to be hung up to death the next day. The representatives of the USA were waiting to hear at least some objections or questions but there were none.
Suddenly they saw a man with a raised hand who was asking to let him say something. The chairman said: ”Yes, comrade, what is that you want to ask us about?” “Well, I just wanted to ask whether we should bring our own ropes for tomorrow’s execution or they will be distributed by the factory authorities.”
